I love travelling to new places, living life as a local, and getting to know people- their lives, how they think about life, perspective, meaning, money, and what truths they hold. I want to know their struggles, how they find joy.
I love traveling with friends, having fun at places, doing random things. But when I travelled solo for the first time, I was in a situation where I had no option but to talk to other travellers and locals. I remember in Mestia, a small village in Georgia, I met three Russians who invited me for a barbeque. We shared stories for three or four hours, and then they asked me why I was travelling alone. I said, "Because if I was with my friends, I wouldn't have met people like you or gotten to know you." And honestly, we're still connected and became real friends.
